What was the most important thing for you about finding the perfect dress?
Finding a dress that was so moody and boho but not $5000!
What was the best personal moments of your wedding day?
My husband and I eloped. So, we had his brother marry us, a friend as our witness, a photographer, and a videographer. And it was SO relaxed. We stayed at an Airbnb that was an old campground so we had this amazing cabin and all the amenities a campground would have, such as tennis courts basketball etc. The morning of, the guys went and played outside while the girls and I got ready! When it was time for the guys to come in, we blindfolded my husband so he couldnโt see me! We took two separate cars to the first look location, then headed to the ceremony location. Big Sur is so rugged and rocky so my brother in law had to piggy back me in! It was so windy and cold but the crashing waves were gorgeous that day!
Please share something that stood out on your wedding day.
How everything came together perfectly. We didnโt really care about any details, but it went so smooth. It was raining in the morning and the whole week leading up to our day, but it cleared just long enough for our ceremony!
What was your inspiration for your wedding day and dress?
My inspiration was adventurous, wild, boho, and intimate all in one. I wanted to be in the middle of nowhere with the most gorgeous scenery and I wanted my dress to play in that part too. I wanted texture and the lace and layers in the dress gave me everything I wanted!
Any advice to future brides?
Honestly, elope! So much less stress and you can actually remember and enjoy your day! I wasnโt stressed out or pressed for time once on my day because we had no timeline. We went with the flow of things and I couldnโt have been more perfect and memorable!
