What was the most important thing for you about finding the perfect dress?
The most important thing to me when finding a dress, was to find something that was simple, and beautiful, just like David and I’s relationship.
What was the best personal moments of your wedding day?
There were a few….One, being that when I woke up, I had the opportunity to run 4 miles with my running buddies AND my dad! Hanging out with them first thing in the morning was amazing. Secondly, getting to get ready with my favorite women bright and early with a cup of coffee in hand, was beautiful and heart warming. Thirdly, the moment I saw my mom and mother in law’s reaction when I walked out from the room with my dress on.. Now that was special. Then, my dad and I’s first look… I had a handkerchief personalized for him, and he teared up like I’ve never seen before. The main special personal moment… was seeing no one but my amazing husband to be while walking down the aisle. It’s amazing how everyone else become a shadow. After that, celebrating was incredible. From the toasts and the formal dances, to the fun dances at the end… everything was perfect.
Please share something that stood out on your wedding day?
I am going to have to say the moment I walked down the aisle. I am so in love with my husband, and I felt like it was just him and I.
What was your inspiration for your wedding day and dress?
Well I personally love my back, which is a weird part of the body to love… But I do! So I wanted something that highlighted it. I also wanted something formfitting but also extremely stretchy… and BOOM! Found her :-).
Any advise to future brides?
Enjoy every second. People say this to other couples all of the time… but as a wedding planner and a recent bride, do NOT sweat the small stuff. You’re getting married to your best friend. Enjoy it 🙂
