It would be nice if you could set up a designated writing area at home; while making sure it’s a comfortable place, not too far from the kitchen or bathroom, with a TV or radio nearby. My suggestion is not only remaining organized but to also stay focused and remain as prepared as; nothing worse than to forget thanking someone for the gift and that is why that tracking list is so important. Having plenty of stationary and stamps is crucial. Treat yourself to some great stationery! You might as well do this task in style. I would suggest ordering a heavy-duty note card in ecru with a beautiful monogram of your new initials (of course in a color that compliments what you did in your wedding design). Bear in mind for the gifts that arrive early when planning on using a monogram, you want to use your maiden name. Nevertheless, there’s no reason why both your first names on them would be inappropriate — you both want to thank guests for pre wedding gifts, right? Please equip yourself with pens that you like to write with. Stay away from the cheap supermarket varieties that make big ink blobs when they’re overused. And please make wise decisions on the ink color you decide to use. Stay away from the “pretty colors” we are no longer in junior high and stick with your basic black or blue, which ever one flows with your thank you card design the best.
