We met in 2003 through a mutual friend. Simon was in high school and I had just graduated. After Simon graduated, we had a long distance relationship while he served in the Army. He got out of the Army 3.5 years later and we have been together ever since. He proposed in Hawaii on the beach in 2010 when I was on a girls trip. It was a total surprise and a day we will never forget.
My advice would be to relax and enjoy every moment because it comes quickly and then is gone before you know it. Don’t get caught up on details and just focus on what the day is about…your marriage. Enjoy the day, savor every moment and have FUN!
My day was just about as perfect as I could have imagined it. Little things happened here and there but I think its all about attitude and how you handle what comes your way. Something will more than likely go wrong, but you just have to remember it’s not important.
