In my business I get to work with all different wedding professionals and it gives me the opportunity to team up with some amazing people. On this project, I did just that! I was able to work with Kelly McLeskey-Dolata (wedding planner/designer) of A Savvy Event where we custom designed a wedding save the date for one of her brides. Kelly gave me the colors of the wedding and some samples of the linens that are going to be used in the reception to give me some inspiration for the design. And this is what I came up with. As a bonus we provided some hotel accomodations information for her guests on the back side. Beautiful and functional…my two loves! Now back to Kelly.
From planning her birthday parties as a child to serving as concierge at some of the country’s best luxury hotels, Kelly McLeskey-Dolata has always had a love for events and turning everyday activities into amazing experiences. Following college, where she studied marketing and design, Kelly went to work for The Ritz-Carlton, learning the finer details of hospitality and event planning at the hotel group’s Vail, Colorado and New York City properties. In 2006, wanting to return to the area in which she grew up, Kelly accepted a position at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, where she planned more than 350+ weddings in her four-year tenure as Wedding and Special Events Manager.
