I have recently started asking our brides how they met to give you the reader a little more insight into their “love story”. I have personally known this bride, Marisa for several years and when I found out she found love, my heart was full for her. This is what Marisa shared about their love story. “Our first date was at a little hipster coffee shop. It was a 6 hour, first date (can you believe that)! It was the longest and the best date, I had ever been on. We just instantly hit it off, it was so easy to talk to each other, plus we had lots of coffee and walked around and talked for 6 hours. Jay isn’t much a talker, but those first couple of dates, it was like we couldn’t say enough to each other. After that night I knew Jay was going to have a big impact on my life, I just didn’t know how. After that date it was constantly talking to each other, texting, calling and seeing each other, every moment we could. We both were going to school full time and working full time, so just seeing each other for an hour, was more than enough. After 6 months of dating Jay proposed on top of a point in Rocklin when the sun was going down. It was expected, but not expected, it was perfect. I know he had different plans, but it turned out so beautifully. The day he proposed was actually the day we picked our venue and date we wanted to get married, it happened kind of reverse, but it worked out. Then we planned our wedding in 7 months. It was extremely stressful but so worth it in the end. The big day turned out so wonderful, I couldn’t have imagined our wedding turning out more beautiful. As a little girl you dream of this day, and it was everything that I expected. I married the man of my dreams, had all our family to witness our beautiful day and I got my dream wedding that I’ve always envisioned.
