What was the most important thing for you about finding the perfect dress?
My wedding dress was the first thing I planned. I knew what I wanted my wedding dress to look like well before I knew the man I would marry. (LOL) I knew I wanted lace, a long train with a low back, something fitting, with a little bling. When I went into AE Bridal in Chico, Bree, the owner, found just that for me. The dress was more than I ever imagined or hoped it would be.
What was the best personal moments of your wedding day?
The best personal moment for me on my wedding day… that’s a tough one. I would probably have to go with seeing my groom before the “I do’s.” Boy, did that take a weight off my shoulders…and his. But not only that, we really got to soak up some quiet, one-on-one time that we didn’t get for the rest of that afternoon.
Please share something that stood out on your wedding day?
Something that stood out on my wedding day was definitely the speeches and the vows. There was so much love poured out from the ones we love most and those that know our story best. And the vows… People really got an understanding of why we were there… the reason we chose forever, together.
What was your inspiration for your wedding day and dress?
I was raised in the country. I always knew that’s where I would get married. & Chico, being that town I met the love of my life – It just made sense to have it somewhere in the middle. I also love all things feminine, with a little bling and my wedding dress brought just that.
Any advice to future brides?
My advise for a future bride… Get a videographer. Trust me, It’s worth every penny. The day flies by and you’ll feel like you missed so much of it if you don’t have that video to look back at. Nine months later and I still watch mine at least once a month.. It never gets old. I laugh and cry all over again.
